I want to know that what can I do if 8-9 years ago I had purchased a property but had given to my mother (I was unmarried then) and now she wants to sell it but want to give the money to my younger brother (who at that time was doing nothing)?

U tell how did u purchase the property either by sale deed or otherwise either in ur name or in the name of ur mother. Further tell me whether u transferred the same to ur mother by sale deed or otherwise. If u did not give ur mother the property by way of any document, then tell me whether u gave ur mother possession of property without executing any document. Where the property is situated.
