Friend falsely claiming I borrowed money from him
07-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My friend is disturbing me and my family over some cash he says that is taken from him. He has no proof of any cash transaction, he is just saying that he lend me 15K hard cash. In between, he is showing some broken conversations. So I need assistance in this matter, what should I do?
Well the best option is to tell the police about it and get restraint order on him. Also will need to know what kind of messages and conversation he is talking about in order to determine whether he has any case or not. Should try to get in touch.. take care

You no need to worry in this case as the burden to prove the same is upon your friend. Firstly he has to prove that he lend you Rs 15k if he proves the same then the burden will be shifted to you to rebut his evidence

Hi, first of all, there is relatively less scope in establishing proof of a cash transaction. The same may, however, be proved through any circumstantial evidence such as text messages, email, third party witness, written acknowledgement etc. In any such case, the person must also clearly establish the date, time, place, occasion and reason pertaining to such exchange of cash. If the concerned person is unable to do so, then it is most likely that he or she is trying to mislead. Hence, one can ignore such fallacious threats unless they lead to harassment in which case, one can consider filing a police complaint against such harassment.

Your question is not clear. you need to explain on what basis he is disturbing you. He cannot file any case but he can disturb you by calling and other issues.
Please come and meet for detailed enquiry. so that proper result after question and answers can be done.
