Under Indian Law nobody can deny you to get share in your grand father's property. Contact a good lawyer with all relevant facts/documents and file a partition suit before appropriate court. you will get relief.

Dear Sir/Mam,
you should file a partition suit in the court in which jurisdiction property is situated. property will be divided as per provision of sec - 8 Hindu succession Act 1956.
(a) firstly, upon the heirs, being the relatives specified in class I of the Schedule;
(b) secondly, if there is no heir of class I, then upon the heirs, being the relatives specified in class II of the Schedule;
(c) thirdly, if there is no heir of any of the two classes, then upon the agnates of the deceased; and
(d) lastly, if there is no agnate, then upon the cognates of the deceased.

You will have to file a civil suit for partition for the entire land left your grandfather. All the children has equal share in the property left by your grandfather. Your step brother has no legal right to retain entire property left by your grandfather
