Family property disputes between two brothers

It is undivided ancestral property between 2 brothers, when one brother is asking his share, another is giving threats and not interested. Can we put stay on all field land by filing suit in the court?

Yes we can put stay on that ancestral property land because According to law ancestral property should be divided according to the family chain among the legal heirs and we can file suit in court to divide the property aequally among the legal hiers

Hello you have remedy available in the Civil courts. You can file the suit for declaration and partition in the civil court along with all the relevant documents. If someone is giving you threats you can also file a complaint to the police for appropriate action to abstain person from inflicting threats on you. For further advise please share complete details
