Family dispute in property and co applicant is not ready for solution

My husband and father in law are joint holder in flat and we stay in flat my father in law paid 6 lacs while making downpayment and he doesn’t pay the loan emi my husband pays the complete emi though both are joint holder in loan we want to sell the flat but he is ready for that and demanding money double than he paid what would be the solution to solve the matter

If the flat owned by jointly then both party are compalsary need to ready for sell the said flat. As per law both are owner of said flat. Now the matter is regarding money, Your father in laws demanding double amount. You can solve this issue with amcambily by doing mediation between your family. If you want legal way then you can file suit for partition Of the property but it's take time.
