Does married daughter have share in father's property?

22-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Dear Lawyer Sir, Please clarify, We would like to know what is the share% for women who got married in the year of 1979. My mother got married in the year 1984. Whether she is eligible for their father's property which is currently on their son's name on combined patta.

Dear sir,

Your question is simple. The answer is applicable if you are Hindus. Your mother has natural right as far as the self acquired property of your grandfather. As far as the ancestral property is concerned (the property acquired by your grandfather through his father i.e., your mothers grandfather) you mother does not hold any right in those properties.

Madam,
Firstly the nature of property need to studied?, whether the said property is self acquired by your father or ancestral one?, if the nature is ancestral then if it passes as undivided even after 2005, then your mother can claim. It needs more information pertaining to the property.
