Details regarding transfer of property through Will

I would like to know what procedure is it to transfer property through Will (Hindu family) and how much percentage is the stamp duty and registration fees and any other expenses involved. The property is in Tamil Nadu. Thank you in advance.

Will need not be registered. It is your choice. The property can be anywhere in India and you can register it anywhere. There is a flat rate of 25k plus documentation and advocate charges. You can plan accordingly.

there is no stamp duty for registering a will unregistered but stamp paper is not necessary but the necessary things are to witness subscribe the bill other request things you must consult with an advocate double can be valid even after your death so prepare will through a professional
