Deletion of my name from ownership of apartment

Our son owns an apartment in a society in Mumbai. I and my wife are the joint owners of that apartment. We stay In Delhi. How can I and my wife get our names deleted from the ownership? We are both senior citizens and would prefer doing it sitting in Delhi. Our religion is Sikh.
Dear Querist, you have to execute a gift deed in favour of your son gifting all your right in the said apartment. Accordingly based on the said gift deed your son can delete (remove) your names from the records of Apartment. Also You can execute a deed of release.
But in either of case, as the document has to be registered, you need to travel to Mumbai for registration.
