Delay in handing over the property by the builder

14-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
I had purchased a commercial shop 4 years back from one of builders. As per agreement they are supposed to hand over property 2 years back. But each time they are delaying it. I have made all the payments as per the plan. What can I do?

If the project is regd. With Rera file a compliant with Rera. Under Rera you can seek for delayed compensation or else you can seek for cancellation and refund of the entire money you gave to builder.

Here you can approach the consumer court for deficiency of service. Here you can claim for damages for delay in giving the possession and also claim compensation on the base of violation of the clause.
