CRZ 3 - perumbalam - Rules for renovation/construction

i have a property in perumbalam with a house of 300sqft. That building is around 40+ years old. And the walls are very weak.So i would like to know the deatils for either reconstruction or renovation for the same.

Perumbalam is an island; therefore, the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) rules are critical. Check the distance of your house from the High Tide Line (HTL). If it falls within a regulated zone, you will need additional clearance from the Kerala Coastal Zone Management Authority (KCZMA) before starting work.

you can renovate the same existing square feet after taking prior approval from the local body and kczma. if you renovate or reconstruct it without obtaining prior approval regularisation may be in trouble. if you are a local inhabitant construction is permissible even in NDZ area subject to regulations
