Compensatory Rights for Caretaker(s)

12-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, My case is that my caretaker, who happens to be a relative, bought the property eight years back in my name. Since then, she has been occupying the property, with my permission, and maintaining it smoothly. Since I do not stay in Delhi, I had authorized everything to her on my behalf since the beginning. In fact, water bills & electric bills come in her name and she has been paying smoothly both. Recently, I have decided to evict them fearing that they could claim ownership-rights on the property, even though they have not! However, they agreed reluctantly but with a condition. The condition is that I have to pay a certain percentage of the total amount of the property's original price as compensation. Her argument is that since I evicted them (along with her sister) prematurely without any benefit given for having maintained the property efficiently. My question 1. Is there any law by which she/they might file a case for the same against me? 2. If so, what am I going to do?

hello client as i can read ur issue is really a big issue in present time . as you said tht most of the things is ben done by your care taker of your property in this . as the care takers is doing all the thing in his own name on your behalf its means most of the documentation is been done on your behalf on the care taker name its very dangerious thing. your over all property can be taken in his own possetion on the name of adverse posessetion ground so you need to make him evict hi as soon ss possible . your question of right of caretaker that is only his salary as an employ . i am sure he will not leave the house smoothly for tht you need to take stict action urgently. you should not at all agree to his conditions. we are here to help you in this matter you need not to pay any heavy amount yo rhe carr taker.
