Clarifications on purchase of a land belonging to government

I purchased a plot at Hyderabad in 2006  through my brother in law, after two years when i go to construct a house then i came to know its government land, since then i left this matter with my brother in law to solve, but now he is not giving me any more details, he is telling when plots get sold i will return your money, now almost 11 years completed, what to do ? please guide me legal way, how to solve this issue? (I am Muslim)

You can not purchase govt. Land from a private persons govt may take back it no title or right pass to you plots cannot be soled you collect mony from your brother in law transfer of property act applies

Hi, First get the Encumbrance Certificate [EC] to check whether the property is sold to someone or not. If he did not sell that property. You can file against him, for cheating you by selling government land.

Your issues are simply according to me your brother in law wants to get over your property and he is having interest in it that is y he is not responding to you properly and trying to avoid you so that you ignore it
