Clarification on division of father's property

My fahter in law died 5 days ago . And he didn't made any will for his daughter. He had 2 son and 3 dauther. He seprated his one son to give him share in his property. Now his seprated son going to capture the whole property of his father and threat his sister for law. So what can we do. What is the first step to stop his construction work on property capture. Also one daughter stay in same premises and two other live in their husband place. Kindly suggest the right way and also suggest with how many days we can win this case.

In this condition you should file a partition suit in the court having jurisdictions for the same. according to Hindu succession act daughter has same right as son. you can file a FIR also.

First go to the nearest police station and narrate all the facts and ask for help. Under law a person who died without writing any will then his or her property will be divided in equal propotion between his or her legal heirs . There is no distinction or differciation between male legal heirs or female legal heirs.
