My grandfather passed away leaving behind a will which stated my grandmother as the successor of property, which after her demise will be distributed between my father and his brother. Can my grandmother sell property without notifying my father or without his approval? We are hindu

Yes, she can. It's her property after the will was given in her favour.

she need not specifically notify you about the sale of the property as willed to her.

you grandmother can sell the property. do you have the copy of the Wil with you ?
