Change of Property Ownership from my uncle to me!
29-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My uncle wants to register a couple of properties to my name. However, I am not paying him for these properties, hence, it is in the realm of gifting of the property. In addition, he is not my full-blood relative. What are the legal possibilities for this property exchange?
What are charges that will incur to me in this property exchange?
Your uncle can execute gift deed in your name and it has to be registered in the jurisdictional subregistrar office. As he is your relative there will be not tax imposition on the property . Stamp duty has to be paid, the done can execute his exclusive and absolute property only it may be movable or immovable
