Can we register a sale deed without property map

sir I need small confirmation.sir can we register a property sale deed without property map and assessment certificate..... Or is it mandotary documents....?
For getting a sale deed registered, a map is a must. However, if the property is a complete unit without any division, the Registrar may effect the transaction on the basis of old records.

Yes one can register a property sale deed without a map but complete location details are required to be submitted like location of property and with respect to North, South, East and West . However it is always advisable to register the property with map to show its front and location with respect to North side.
