Can minor sign in the sale deed for sale of ancestral land
10-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
I intend to buy 2 acres grant land Bangalore , it is ancestral property, all concerned parties are ready to sign there are 2 minors aged 8 and 10 involved , they are also ready to sign . I want your suggestion as to how to involve them in the sale procedure, as I don`t want them to lay a claim on the property later. Please advise sir.
Since all concerned parties have consented to sign the conveyance deed it is very good and safe. However since two persons involved are minors there names may be included duly rep by their natural guardian, father or mother as the case may be. This way you will eliminate any chances of anybody laying a claim in the future.
Also kindly mention in the conveyance deed that the sale is being done for the benefit of minor children and in the interest of securing their bright future. this should suffice
