Can i Use Residential Property for Single Person Office Use

I have a small propriety Business , i work out of my residential flat here in pune ., i dont use any hoarding/ board anywhere in the building premises . however i have a proper setup of an office and i dont have any employees . my question is will i need to apply for a commercial electricity connection ? or can i use my residential connection as i am the only person working ?

No you are not required to apply for commercial electricity connection, as you are not doing anything which contravenes the law because as there is no hoarding or any employee, the said office do not even count as an office as such that you would be required to apply for a commercial connection of electricity.
