My mother was died . I have 4 siblings .My brother don't look after about my mother and he asking about my mother property so my grand mother wants to take back gifted house so what is the process to take back
Answer: as per law a gift cannot be cancelled, but there are some exceptions to it and only after seeing the gift deed i will be able to tell you. the process for cancellation of gift deed is to approach the civil court.

First of all the Gift Deed shall be read carefully what is written by your mother. In this Gift Deed it is clearly mentioned that to look after your grant mother, then only it can be revoked before the concerned SRO by you grand mother.

you can cancel the oroneous gift given by your grand mother by visiting the registration office along with your mother and grand mother or else your mother have right to execute any other instrument to bequeath the property to any person she is willing
