Can grandfather give his part of share to my father

Dear Sir, We have an ancestors property which is divided into three parts. My grandfather has two sons so the property is divided on three names.. My grandfather, my uncle and my father. Did my grandfather can give his share of part to my father because he bears all his expenses. Kindly suggest.

After division of ancestral property, now everybody has its own share, i.e. his individual property and he has absolute right to transfer it as per his choice. Therefore your grandfather has got absolute right to give his share to your father .

Yes, he can give it to any one. But for the same ask your grand father to transfer the property in your father's favour in his life time other wise after his death your uncle will claim share in it which under law your father can not deney.

Yes, your grandfather can give his share in the property to your father. It can be done by the process of the Court. Only thing required is willingness of your grandfather. If your grandfather is willing and agree, it can be done in Civil Court or in Registry Office. However, method of Civil Court will be less expensive.
