Can father write a will on property inherited from his father

13-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
Am a girl child born in 1966. My father inherited lands from his father. My mother inherited her land from her father. Now they wanted to write a will of those lands(2/3) to their son & their 2 grandsons. 1/3rd portion to me (ie. The daughter). Is it possible to do this in any ways as per Hindu law? Is that will enforceable? Please guide me.

It is not clear that how your father inherited the property from your grandfather. If it is by transfer, as per law it will treat as his self acquired property. He can distribute the property as he wish. This is applicable to the case of your mother too

As per your statement your parents property is inherited and in both the properties all your parents children have got equal rights and they can not discriminate against you just because you are a woman.
