Hi,
I want to know wether the property is self acquired or ancestral.
Secondly if the property is ancestral, you cannot claim share in the property until your father is alive.
If you can convince tour grandfather then it would be a different story.
All the best

It depends on the nature of the property. If the property was acquired before 1956, then you can very well claim for a share in the same. However, if the property is built post 1956 then you cannot claim a share in the same as the property would have been acquired by your parents as a self acquired and not an ancestral property. You can contact me for further queries if any.

Dear Friend,
You have right to sale the property as per procedure settled in Civil Law. You need take NOC from all legal hairs of the property including your brother/sisters, fathers brothers/sisters and also issue the advertise in new paper related to objections and then the said property transferred with your name and then you have right sale the same.
