Can a daughter claim rights over her mother's property?

Daughters are among the primary heirs to the property of deceased father/ mother. Since the mother is not deceased, and is willing to give the daughters their share, or even if she is unwilling, you should consult an attorney for the due procedures. I think (I'm not sure) the daughters will have to file to be regarded as legal heirs. In any case, daughters have legal right to the parents' property. And since the sons are seemingly trying to keep it from 'em, it ll be in their best interest to contend in court for the rightful share.
Although, a point really important to mention is, the laws regarding distributions of property are subject to religion of the people in question. The Hindu ( Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain), Muslims and others have different laws.thank you

The property is in name of grandma.4 were there.3 sons 1 daughter.1 brother went separately he never comes to see der parents.& he won't come to take the property also.2 brother has taken half of the share from grandma's property & he built the house.remaining portion has selected to give 1 more brother(patient) &sister...y remaining portion for both is ,sister brother grandma are living in 25 yrs she is taking care of him.& her mother.share has in grand ma name only .dey only decided to take the share.dey have taken. but sis is suffering to take property for his brother(patient)...& problem is 2 brother is again asking share of his brother..& he said that i ll take care of him.& he is saying dat daughter are not having any rights to take this property ...wht to do now??
