Can a daughter claim her rights on father's property after his death

My mother in law has four sisters.her father died in 2010,after that my mother in law's mother is biased with her elder daughter and a lot of property she registered in the name of her plz guide me about my mother in law authority on that property

If the property stands in the name of father, in that case after death property is to be divided in five parts. One share each for all four daughters and fifth share go to the wife, I.e. your mother in law's mother. Now your wife has remedy to get her share by way of filing civil suit and she will and will get one fifth share in the property.

Your mother in law's mother as per law of the land can not do the same. Contact a good lawyer, place before him all the facts and relevant documents and act accordingly as per his advice. I think you will get solution
