Builder not doing registration of the flat despite complete payment
21-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello Everyone. I bought a flat in Faridabad in NCR through a reputed builder 2 years back. In spite of making complete payment 2 years back and doing multiple follow ups, the builder is not ready to arrange registration of my flat. What action I may take against the builder. Please suggest. Thanks

This is a clear-cut case of fraud and cheating. You have paid the money and he has not given the possession. After taking money and not delivering the product i.e. flat is a fraud and cheating.

It seems from the facts given here that, the builder is not doing registration. Is the property fully constructed and ready to be given a possession of?
If so, you can file a complaint with the Economic Offences Wing.
If there is a delay in construction and you want to seek refund or compensation for delay of possession , file a case with the jurisdictional Consumer Court.
