Builder charging amount for owner name change by maintenance office.

I purchased a property and paid the stamp duty and registration charges now I am the owner of the flat but in maintenance office to change the name of owner builder is asking processing fees is this fees is a legal fees???

Sir,
As per your query if the builder is asking for processing fees for changing the name of present owner in place of earlier owner is legal or not.Then in such cases it is your right to ask for agreement paper or terms and condition paper from builder and if information regarding such fees is mentioned in that paper then it is legal and if not then it illlegal or you may also ask for document in which information regarding such processing fees is mentioned .
