03-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
Issue is my father had bough a land from a person later on we got he passbooks. its been 20 years
but the land is still on the person name from whom we have bought the land
have u registered the property in your name?
R the passbooks transferred to your name?
you have to clarify these details,
if the pass books are in your name and you are in the possession of the property then ok

Hi
Check whether your father bought any government assigned lands. typically if it was a government assigned land, then it would have been in prohibition register and no transfer would have been possible.
If it was not a government assigned land, then you can claim adverse possession assuming the taxes , electricity bill or water bill are in your name and paid by you. check Mandal office revenue register if available.
