Ancestral property or separate or self acquired property

24-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
My father inherited property from his father and an equal share was given to his brother whereas, his sisters were married off and till date have not challenged this arrangement. Therefore they were not given a share of the property. This oral partition took place in 1979. Is the property on this date ancestral or separate property?
