The ownership as u stated remains in name ur grandfather in Farad Jamabandi . Since farad are on net. This is sufficient document to show title of ur grandfather. He is owner, the breaking of girdawari does not effect tile of ur grandfather.

The land will be transferred ( mutated) in name of his son s and wife if alive. Moreover the grant is recorded in govt records. I can help u to get land and rent from those persons cultivating ur land. Thereafter u can sell land etc as u want.

Specify the place in Amritsar Distt.

Dear if you want to transfer the land at your name or want to sell it out, first you have get the girdori transfer at your name, because the person who has girdori at his name he is consider as half owner, without his signatures you can not do anything.
