Share of Muslim daughter in her father's property or assets

01-Feb-2023 (In Muslim Law Law)
We are two children, son and daughter. Can my father give his all property and assets to his son? All his assets are self earned, not inherited. We are Muslims. What is the situation if my father is not alive? Whether my father can sell his property and buy another in his son's name?

As per Mohammedan law the property can be shared among the son and daughter in the ratio of 2:1.So you are entitled to get the 1/3 rd share of your father. If he denies, you can approach the court. Situation will not be changed after the death of your father.
