Seeking Alternate Proof of Divorce Without Ex-Spouse's Involvement

28-Aug-2023 (In Muslim Law Law)
I'm from Pune and got divorced within my community (Dawoodi Bohra - Shia Muslim) 8 years ago (2015). I have a community divorce document signed by my ex-wife and 2 community witnesses. Despite translation, notarization, and an affidavit, a government agency insists only on court-registered divorce papers. Contact with my ex-wife is lost, expecting no cooperation after 8 years. Seeking options for divorce proof without her involvement, possibly using my community divorce document. Is it possible?

I have gone through your query. As per Shariyat your divorce is complete but the government agencies do not recognize unless declared from Court. In this case you need to obtain a divorce declaration from Court to present before the government agencies as proof of divorce.
