If both husband and wife are agree for divorce then both have to approach court for mutual divorce and if either of the party isn't ready then it will be a contested divorce. Your advocate shall draft the petition and shall file it before the court.

there are two type of divorce.
One is the mutual consent divorce and another one is contested divorce. if both the parties are agree for mutual consent divorce then the process is much easier comparatively contested divorce
as I can see that u chose subject about Muslim law.
So , according to Muslim law if both the parties are agreed to obtain mutual consent divorce then it's called mubarat Nama. if either party is not ready for mutual consent divorce then for husband having rights to send one sided divorce to wife. And for wife having rights to go to court and file divorce case against husband
