Mentally unstable father giving away property

Muslim father is mentally unstable and has dementia. He is giving monies and property away without consent of children. How can this be legally stopped? Is there a way to get back the properties given away. Can a stay be taken on remaining properties?
On the above-mentioned query please note down that any person with mentally unstable or unsound mind, transfers his property (movable or immovable) is totally illegal and null and void. And is revocable on behalf of his medical records.
