10-Feb-2023 (In Muslim Law Law)
Hi, I am sunni muslim living in maharashtra, My grandfather (mom's dad) sold his ancestor's property to my mother around 8 years back and Now my mother's sister-in-law and her son are trying to claim the property. We kept them as guardians of property. Is there any provision in Muslim law for them to claim a share in property? Please suggest advice, Thanks in advanced

Well, being guardians, they cannot claim ownership on the Property. However, they must have been claiming Title by the law of the Adverse Possession as mentioned in one of the sections of the Easementary Act.
