Question: hi, I met with a major accident in 2012 which was fatal. My survival was doubtful and doctor suggested to amputate my leg and arm first. After a number of surgeries and trauma my hand and leg were fixed incorrectly.My leg was malunited bent. my elbow was severely affected Arm functioning is fully disabled unable to do any work. My case was pending for a long time> 5 years.I was not informed of the case happenings for first 4 years.Then I used to query my lawyer and with great difficulty I tried to attend the court inspite of I was ignored and not treated well. Regarding medical board I myself took interest and arranged for medical board doctors' opinion.Else it might take several years. In april 2018 the case was over and as usual I myself browsed& followedfound the judgement from web. Around 11,70,000 wa thcompensation and interest for 9,40,[email protected]%. Now I heard from lawyer that the amount was deposited in court.How much fees I need to give the advocate.My effort to dispose is key.

If you feel its lower amount you can go for appeal before high court and the amount can be increased . According to fees your advocate can only inform you because general in MCOP cases advocate use to spend for entire case and get the amount later.

First u file a appeal petition. Based on ur age, occupation, injuries,family system ,education u will get more amount.depending upon the advocate they will fix the fees.... Collect the order copy from advocate.In my knowledge u will get more amount but it will take some more time.

Regarding ur advocate fees ... senior council means different fees, mcop advocates different fees, junior advocate different fees. Some advocate ask 10 % or 15% ...20% ....
