Met with an accident who is liable to pay compensation
08-Feb-2023 (In Motor Accident Law)
Hi, I have come across a situation where a bike banged into my 4 wheeler from behind. Whose fault would this be considered as? Why would I have to pay a compensation for his fault?
As a biker he was at a duty of care to operate your vehicle with sufficeint care, attention, and precaution as to not pose a danger to persons or property. It was the duty of biker to maintain a safe distance between his and the other vehicle or failure to pay proper attention. It is the fault of biker and you are not liable to pay any damages
