Biker claiming for compensation in motor accident case what can I do

On a road which had no divider a biker at a very high speed came from opposite side and encroached wrongly into my lane and did a head on collision with my car. I stopped immediately but he was at such a high speed then he alongwith his bike came on top of car and then fell down much behind the trunk of car. I am in state of shock since that time and now he has filed a MACT case demanding INR 50 Lacs. I believe this is harassment of someone who was driving his car well within the lane and at very low speed. As a human I don't feel like filing counter FIR since he has lot of physical injuries.
Dear sir, you have to defend your case otherwise opposite party may get an exparty award from the court. In such cases the insurance company will also may be made a party.
