Sir actually i rented a voler car from chandigarh and i was going to meerut and in shamli a truck driver scratched the car, when i return ed the car the voler employ started blackmailing me kept my license and make me sit there fir 2 hours late night he is saying me to pay 30 thousand though the maintanance charge is not more than 2000 they also have my security worth 2000 also they kept my license and not returning it and they are saying if u dont give us the money we will take legal action amd i have not yet informed about this to my paremts i m really tensed
Firstly, you should not hide this matter from your parents. In my opinion you should tell your parents about this and they will surely help you in the matter. If not parents then you should talk to somebody else in your family whom you believe could be helpful.
You can request the voler employ to let you undertake the repair work and after the same is completed he should return the license and security amount. I think the employ doesn’t actually intend to take any legal action and he is only trying to build a pressure in order to get more money from you. In case he actually initiates any legal action then you will have to fight the case. But there is nothing to worry. You can put forward that you are ready to bear the repair expenses.
Alternatively, you can get a duplicate copy of the driving licence from the concerned authority and forget about the security amount of Rs. 2000
