Accident case pending against me can I apply for a govt. job

I met an accident in last year and it Was done by me.. Opposite 4 passengers are died.. .i have no licence. .the case was still pending in court.. .can i apply for central gvt postaman job.. .?
There seems to be no legal bar. When a criminal case is pending, it is not conviction. It may turn out to be case of discharge / quashing etc. But, if the rules specifically state that even pendency is a bar (which most likely will not be), then there may be a difficulty.
