Urgent Legal Assistance Needed - Suspected Misdiagnosis of Myopathy

06-Mar-2026 (In Medical Negligence Law)
My mother was diagnosed with myopathy by a doctor at AIIMS Gorakhpur. However, genetic reports failed to identify the exact cause, stating "No significant CNVs for the given clinical indications that warrants to be reported was detected." Additionally, her CREATINE KINASE, SERUM, and CK MB reports were normal, which raises serious doubts about the accuracy of the diagnosis. Note:-My mother passed away on 6 Jan 2026.

A case of Medical Negligence can be made out in the present case. It must be understood that every doctor/medical professional is under the obligation to adhere to the reasonable standard of care while rendering treatment to their patients as is also well explained under the scope and ambit of the Bolam's Principle and in the event that they fail to do so, they can and should be held guilty of medical negligence. In the present set of facts and circumstances, the doctors can be and should be held guilty of medical negligence.
