My father passed away on dec 7 2023

So can I file a case of medical negligence against metro hospital operating doctors as He was put on ventilator and for 7 days he was not speaking Lather they said nothing working so need3 to do bronchoscopy on a patient in critical condition in ICU .What are consequences of filling a case in consumer forum can I be charged back I just have the medical reports which can be altered too Suggest please
