Death post delivery by cesarean, possible cause HELLP syndrome

04-Sep-2023 (In Medical Negligence Law)
My sister delivered her baby by cesarean on morning of 29/08/15. Suddenly in evening she complained of restlessness and pain. She was operated again and one thing led to other causing multiple organs failure. She breathed her last on 01/09/15. Doctors said it was a possible case of HELLP syndrome which is very rare. We are not sure about it and suspect that there might have been negligence on part of doctors and the operation may have been botched up. Please advice how to proceed so that we can know the actual cause.

All the documents, medical records and discharge summary etc., need to be reviewed in totality to ascertain the actual cause of death. The reports can be shown to third party medical experts for their individual opinion. Once we receive the opinion from different doctors who are masters in this field, we an find out the real cause of death and than can proceed accordingly to nail the culprits as per law.
