What should I do if landlord is not returning security deposit

I have vacated a home on 31st March and the landlord has not returned the deposit money yet. He is not giving me any date on when he will return and today when I had called him. He abused me with some bad words. What option do I have?
On tenant act you can claim against him ..,on recovery also ..tenant have agreement with the landlord can easily get back to that money ..,in the same can file compensation also ..,whenever vacate his responsibility to give

Sir, be confirm whether the original rental or leased deed with whom. Consult an advocate with details, if it lawful, he will advice to issue legal notice stupilating time. If, he will not response by return security amount within time bound of notice, the you have to file a recovery suit for security amount with interest as like you.
