Tenant moves out without settling rent arrears

15-Oct-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
After much persuasion,my tenant finally moved out but more than six months rent plus electricity charges are still pending. As usual he promises to pay but since now he has shifted,it is unlikely he will pay.how to recover money?

I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to issue a strongly worded legal notice for recovery of dues within stipulated time of 15 days failing which you can file a civil suit for recovery in the court. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.

Sir, I would suggest that you send him a legal notice claiming your rent and all other pending dues. This is the first course of action. For further I can only advice after Persuing your property documents.
