Is tenant claim ownership after living 11months without any agreement?

Actually we gave our house on rent since 11 months without any agreement and now they are not paying the rent properly and also do not want to leave the house .
So there anything they can claim of and what we can do legally to get rid of them and take our house back??
you did not tell whether you received any rent from your tenant and if yes whether it was in written? if it was not in written then you can file a suit on the ground of encroachment against your tenant where you must tell him an encroacher not tenant and if you generated any receipt then you can file a suit against him treating him a tenant.

give them a notice to pay the remaining rent and and vacate the house as agreement is over and then after month you have to file a suit for eviction You cannot forcefully vacate the house as per law they will get the temporary injunction imidately so better you go first for eviction suit
