18-Mar-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
With landlords oral permission kitchen platform was shifted before 42 Years old landlord expired daughter in law new landlord asking for eviction as platform is shited and toilet bathroom combined with one door no pillars or no structural changes made even 24 Hrs security is there from beginning if we did without permission he would hv stopped us also in 42 Years there is no oral or written complaint about kitchen can the new landlord evict us pl adviae
Dear Client, as replied to your earlier oral permissions do not stand the test of time, merely because he did not stop you at the time of changes does not entitle you to change without written permission, having said that the period of your tenancy is also to be considered for eviction, the terms of your agreement vis a vis termination is also to be considered.
If you have made the changes prior 42 years back, I dont see any remote chances of your Landlord taking any action against you. If the current landlord prefers to send you a legal notice do reply to that and narrate that the changes has been made since 42 years and deny that you have made any changes recently.
