Can i continue staying if my rental agreement is over

25-May-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
My landlord is insisting to vaccate the house and gave tenure of rental agreement is over. Will I be able to stay there for more duration even if landlord is not interested and now due to water shortage we are not even given proper water supply on regular basis. Kindly advise us whether we can sue the landlord in court of law for not providing the proper water supply and for vaccating the house.

Hello Sir/Madam, Since your Rent Agreement tenure is over, your Landlord has every right to insist you to vacate the property. But, only through legal means. He can't resort to Unlawful or Illegal means to evict you from premises. You can very well file a case for that. Then, No landlord has a right to Stop electricity and water to his tenant even if he's not paying rent regularly since both are basic necessities. you can file a case for this too.
