Double-check the rental agreement for: Duration/lock-in period Termination clauses Broker fees or commissions If none of these mention a six-month minimum stay or an early exit fee, you are not contractually obligated to pay extra.

If there is no clause in the rental agreement or any written communication regarding extra commission for early vacating, the broker cannot legally demand it. Commission terms must be explicitly mentioned and agreed upon. You are not liable to pay any such amount unless contractually obligated. Politely deny such demand and seek written clarification. If harassment continues, you may file a police complaint for illegal demand or seek legal notice through a lawyer.
