Seperation after being on bench for 365 days

20-Jan-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi, I was hired by the Wipro company from my MBA college in 2023. I was not aware about their policies when I was hired and slated to join the company in July 10, 2023. After the training of three months they asked me to coordinate with a team to get allocated to a project and even after reaching out to them time and again they didn't allocated me to a project. Now after 1.5 years at company today I got to know that in next 20 days If I am not allocated to a project I will be fired.

Reach out to your superiors via email and escalate by tagging their seniors. Contact HR for clarification on allocation policies. If no resolution, you may invoke your employment rights under applicable labor laws and challenge any termination based on company policy violations or unfair practices.

Hey, There are several legal remedies available for you. If your employer has violated the terms of the contract, you can sue under sections 73 and 74 of indian Contract Act, and you can also file a criminal case against the employer for hampering your achievements by not assigning you a project.
