Salary issue: No notice in offer, late appointment letter rules

11-Jun-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
Maine 19 May ko ek company join ki thi (sales profile), aur 9 June tak 14 din kaam kiya. Offer letter me notice period ka koi mention nahi tha. Ab job chhodni hai, lekin HR keh rahe hain bina 15 din notice serve kiye salary aur incentive nahi milega. Appointment letter unhone mujhe 9 June ko mail kiya, jisme 3 June ki date likhi hai aur usme notice clause hai. Main notice serve nahi karna chahta. Kya main apni salary legally le sakta hoon?

Most likely, you will have to serve your notice period if it's mentioned in your appointment letter. Without doing so you may not receive your salary legally. However, we can go through your appointment letter and see if there are any communications done before between you and the company to seek appropriate reliefs.

Agar aap bina Notice Period serve kiye, Salary lena chahte hai legally, toh yeh legally possible nahi hai, kyunki jab aap Employment Contract sign karte hai, toh aap iss baat ke liye aam taur pe majboori de dete hai ki aap Notice Period serve karenge!
